Upcoming play will feature three events scheduled in the East (two events posted and one to be posted soon) and two more remaining events in the West! In the meantime, while teams are training in preparation for the upcoming events, what else has been going on for our teams and athletes? A selected group of twelve athletes was invited to form an NVA All Star team that represented the organization on the NVA's first international competition tour in Asia! The NVA All Star team just recently returned from China after a thirteen day trip (August 14-26) in which they showcased their talents throughout Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Beijing. The All Star team competed in six total friendly matches, two in each city. The squad competed against Shanghai Golden Age VBC in Shanghai, Zhejiang Volleyball Club in Hangzhou, and Baic Motor Volleyball Club in Beijing respectively. The roster was compromised of athletes from various NVA teams providing a unique opportunity to see some of the top talent in the league competing together against some of the highest level volleyball in all of Asia! Golden Age is the defending Chinese league championship team and Baic Motor is perennially one of the top clubs in China.
